Hi! My name is Leah – I am a Canadian mixed media artist & illustrator. My favourite mediums are pretty watercolours and unique digital art, though I also dabble in acrylic, pastels and oils (once in a blue moon!) I live in the beautifully four-seasoned province of Ontario with my husband, two children, and fur-baby- Hockley. Art has always been a passion of mine, and a means of creative escape and relaxation. Surprisingly, I actually trained to be a teacher, but following a car accident that left me with a traumatic brain injury from a car accident, everything changed.

Following the accident, I endured years of physical therapy, and chronic pain, which I still have to this day. Creating art gave me the opportunity to find small pieces of myself I thought I had lost forever.
Throughout my journey, I have taught myself to create new pieces through various mediums; what started as a form of therapy quickly turned into my business.

Since then, my art has been showcased on various home television shows, movies, news, commercials, and can be found in fine shops around the world!

When I am not creating, you can find me outside enjoying the sunshine, partially shaded (wearing sunscreen, hello 40+!), with a drink in my hand, listening to an eclectic array of music, or Billy Joel (have had a personal crush on him since I was 13. The love story continues). I love to travel, but my happiest days are days spent with my family or friends, simply talking, enjoying food together, and one another’s company.

My greatest hope is that my art will help to make your everyday a little more beautiful and magical.
